Stem Separation

Capture a full song and ESSNCE pulls it apart into four isolated layers — drums, bass, other instruments, and vocals. Grab the drums for a break, extract the vocal for a remix, or isolate the bassline to study the groove. Each stem saves to its own pad.

16 Pads That Feel Right

Velocity-sensitive and position-aware. Hit the bottom of the pad for a hard strike, brush the top for ghost notes. Zero latency. Finger-drum a full performance or just audition your chops.

Hum-to-Notation

Hum a melody into your phone. ESSNCE detects the pitch, cleans up any wobble, and writes the notes onto a musical staff — correct note names, durations, everything. Edit it, play it back through real instruments, or export as MIDI.

Auto-Chop

Load a loop, hit chop. ESSNCE detects the transients and splits the sample across your pads automatically. Adjust sensitivity to get fewer thick slices or more granular hits. Rearrange and you've got a new pattern in seconds.

Pattern Generator

Pick a genre — boom-bap, trap, house, drill, lo-fi, reggaeton, afrobeats — and hit generate. You get a starting point with the right swing, tempo, and groove baked in. Tweak from there or roll the dice again.

Actual Sound Design

ADSR envelopes, three filter types, bit-crush, sample rate reduction, choke groups, note repeat. Per-pad. Per-step probability, flam, and roll on the drum grid. This isn't a toy with a volume knob and a reverb toggle.
